This Privacy Policy describes how Joseph Samuel Tornari (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Imposter - Betrayal Party Game mobile application (the “App”).
The short version: the App is a local party game played on one device. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no game server. Almost everything stays on your phone. The only data that leaves your device relates to optional in-app purchases, which are processed by Apple and our purchases provider, RevenueCat.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Imposter - Betrayal Party Game is a pass-and-play party game for friends in the same room. There is no account to create, no login, and no online gameplay. We do not operate a backend server for this App, and gameplay never leaves your device.
We do not sell your personal information. The App contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs. The only third parties involved are Apple (payment processing) and RevenueCat (purchase management), described below.
The following information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us: player names you enter for a game session; custom decks and custom words you create; game options and settings (such as imposter count and round toggles); and your language preference.
This data stays on your phone. Deleting the App deletes it. We have no access to it and keep no copy of it.
The App offers optional in-app purchases: a monthly auto-renewing subscription, a one-time lifetime unlock, and (when available) a one-time bundle that unlocks premium features across our games (see Section 5).
Payments are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never receive or store your name, billing address, or payment card details.
To recognize and restore purchases, our purchases provider RevenueCat processes: a randomly generated anonymous identifier for your App installation (shown as “Support ID” in the App’s Settings), the product purchased, purchase timestamps, and Apple transaction/receipt identifiers. We do not link this identifier to your name, email, or Apple ID.
RevenueCat acts as our service provider for purchase management. Their privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you purchase the multi-game bundle (when available), your entitlement is managed through RevenueCat so premium features can be unlocked in each participating game we publish (currently Alien Imposter, Imposter - Betrayal Party Game, and our spy party game when released).
To make this work, the entitlement associated with your purchase may be recognized across our apps. Only purchase and entitlement data is involved — no gameplay data, player names, or content is shared between apps.
We do not collect: precise location; contacts; photos or camera access; microphone recordings; browsing history; advertising identifiers; health data; or biometric data.
We do not use tracking as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, and the App will not ask you for tracking permission.
The limited purchase information described in Section 4 is used to: deliver and unlock the features you bought; restore purchases on a reinstall or a new device; prevent fraud and abuse of purchases; respond to support requests you send us; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App.
We share information only with: Apple (as payment processor and app distributor, governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy) and RevenueCat (as our purchases service provider, processing the data described in Section 4 on our behalf).
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or us.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
On-device data (names, decks, settings) remains until you delete it in the App or delete the App itself.
Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to keep your purchases valid and restorable, and as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Support emails are retained as long as needed to resolve your issue and for a reasonable period afterward.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
Because we hold almost no personal information, most requests can be satisfied by deleting the App, which removes all local data. For purchase-related data, email alienimpostergame@gmail.com and include the Support ID from the App’s Settings; we will work with our providers to honor applicable requests.
You will not be discriminated against for exercising any privacy right.
The App is a general-audience party game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the App has no accounts, no chat, and no data collection beyond the anonymous purchase data described above.
In-app purchases require App Store authorization, and parents can manage purchase permissions through Apple’s Family Sharing and Screen Time controls.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
On-device data is protected by your device’s own security (passcode and encryption). Purchase data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to Apple and RevenueCat.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but the App’s minimal-data design greatly limits what could ever be exposed.
We are based in the United States. Purchase data processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be processed in the United States and other countries, under the safeguards those providers maintain for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
