These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Joseph Samuel Tornari (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Imposter - Betrayal Party Game mobile application (the “App”). This document also serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the App.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Imposter - Betrayal Party Game is a local pass-and-play party game: players in the same room share one device, receive secret words, and try to identify the imposter. The App requires no account and offers no online gameplay.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service (including the Usage Rules).
You may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App; reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code except where permitted by law; use the App’s word lists, artwork, or other content in another product; or use the App in any unlawful way.
The App offers optional purchases that unlock “Pro” features (additional word categories and the custom deck builder):
• Monthly subscription — an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly through your Apple ID.
• Lifetime unlock — a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks Pro in this App.
• All-games bundle (when available) — a one-time purchase that unlocks premium features in each of our participating games (currently Alien Imposter, Imposter - Betrayal Party Game, and our spy party game when released).
All payments are processed by Apple. Prices are shown in your local currency before purchase and may vary by region. We may change prices or what is included in Pro; changes will not retroactively remove a lifetime or bundle purchase you already made.
The monthly subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time except where required by law.
The all-games bundle unlocks the premium tier of each participating game. Each game remains a separate app that must be downloaded individually; the bundle unlocks features within them but is not a promise that any particular future game will exist or remain available.
Bundle entitlements are recognized across our apps through our purchases provider. If a participating game is removed from sale, the bundle continues to apply to the remaining games; this does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law.
Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. On a new device or reinstall, use “Restore purchase” on the paywall (or in Settings) to regain your unlock at no charge.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request them at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
Pro users can create custom decks and words. This content is stored only on your device; it is not transmitted to us and we cannot see or moderate it.
You are solely responsible for the content you create and display to the people you play with. Do not create content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights. You retain any rights you have in your custom content.
The App’s word categories include names of well-known movies, shows, brands, people, and games. These names are used solely as references for guessing-game play (nominative use). All trademarks and copyrighted titles remain the property of their respective owners, and no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement is claimed or implied.
You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the App; circumvent the paywall or purchase verification; use the App to harass others; or misrepresent the App as your own work.
The App is a social game — be decent to the people you play with. House rules are yours; the App just deals the words.
The App, including its design, artwork, icons, text, word lists (as compilations), and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the license in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will meet your expectations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US $10).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are effective until terminated. They terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them; upon termination you must stop using the App and delete it. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 8, 10, 11, 12, and 15) survive termination.
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
In the event the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory compliance claims, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the developer’s state of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where required, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
